The Covert Hypnosis Manual Operator

Finding a good covert hypnosis manual operator can be difficult, given the number of manual operators that are out there. A typical covert hypnosis manual will have an index with a certain number of common terms and techniques that you can memorise and apply to real life settings. It will also contain a number of ways that you can use covert hypnosis without people being consciously aware you're doing so.

What a lot of these manuals won't contain however are the common mistakes that many beginning hypnotists make when attempting to apply covert hypnosis for the first time. A lot of these manuals will assume some sort of experience in hypnosis, experience which the read all too often may not have.

That is why it's important to find a covert hypnosis manual operator that explains the techniques necessary in order to apply covert hypnosis in a way that anyone can understand. You want to find a manual operator that lists in detail each step of the covert hypnosis process, from the induction into trance right through the action of suggestion.

Let me share a little story with you. When I was just starting to learn hypnosis, I was trying to convince this salesman to give me a fifty percent discount on this VHS player. Now of course the salesman had no intention of giving me the discount, and he was of the belief that the VHS player was already cheap enough as it was, at the full price.

So I tried as hard as I could to try and subtly suggest to the salesman that the piece of equipment was in fact not worth its full value, and that he really ought to give me a fifty percent discount. Despite how hard I persisted, I was just unable to plant the suggestion within this salesman to give me that discount.

Looking back now, I can see why I failed to plant that suggestion. You see, I never identified with what the salesman wanted, nor with what he was saying. I was taking a form of resistance, I was distancing myself from him by not agreeing with him that the VHS player was worth its full value.

What I should have said to the salesman was that yes, the product he was trying to sell me was indeed worth its full value, and that he should not give me any discount on it. By doing this I would have established rapport with the salesman, and dispelled his subconscious fears that I was trying to obtain a discount from him.

After I had done this, I could have easily have planted the covert suggestion within him so that he would give me a discount.

This is a crucial lesson that your ordinary covert hypnosis manual operator will not teach you. You must identify with what a person's fears are, dispel them, and agree with what the person is saying to maintain rapport, even if it goes against what your suggestion may be. In time, the person will forget the fact you agreed with them, however rapport will exist, creating the perfect environment for you to plant your suggestion.

Covert Hypnosis - How Can You Learn This?

Covert hypnosis is the art of hypnotizing other people without them knowing it. This is usually done by weaving together words, tone of voice, intonation, and phrases into powerful suggestive messages. A person who controls this can achieve amazing things and hold a great power and sway over people. You may never know if the person next to you uses covert hypnosis, but if he or she are successful, influential, charismatic, have a great sex life with tons of gorgeous dates that seem to materialize out of thin air, there's a fair chance that they have already discovered the secrets of covert hypnosis.

But how can you learn covert hypnosis? What are your options?

The first option is to find someone who masters Covert Hypnosis (which is sometimes also known as conversational hypnosis) and is willing to teach you. True experts at the art of covert hypnosis are few and far between and they are invariably expensive. If you do find such an expert, this can be a great way to learn the secrets of covert hypnosis, but if you don't have the kind of money required (It can get to thousands of dollars) you better consider the second option.

The second option is to get a covert hypnosis learning program. There are some great online programs out there. And there are also awful programs. The good ones aren't cheap, but they are worth it as they can teach you things which will dramatically improve your life in a number of fields. These programs usually include mp3 files which you can listen to at home and practice with until you acquire the powers of covert hypnosis.

Whichever option you choose, be aware that this is a power which isn't to be used lightly. You will be able to play with people's minds. Use this responsibly.

The Power of Covert Hypnosis

Covert hypnosis refers to the techniques that are used that can allow one person to have a power that a person over another person's mind and actions, using several hypnotherapy techniques. Covert hypnosis allows you to subtly communicate with another person in a way that causes them to perform some action that you intend, regardless of their own desires and thoughts. When you affect a person's conscious actions and ideas through their unconscious mind, you can affect whether or not you make a sale, change their opinion about you or someone else, or change their stance on an issue. The key is that the other person actually ends up thinking that their decision was a conscious one, a decision that they fully intended.

Covert hypnosis techniques are commonly used by expert salespeople, the ones who become highly skilled at establishing a very solid rapport with customers and then subtly leading them to be unable to resist purchasing products or services. Other people learn to hypnotize others to gain the ability to change their mind about something they intend consciously, and make the opinions of the subject match those of the person doing the hypnotizing.

Covert hypnosis is based on the works of early hypnotist Milton Erickson, who developed ways and trained others to induce hypnotic states in people using conversation and indirect means. Hypnosis induction can result after the listener becomes able to develop a psychological connection with someone and then use the information that the person reveals unintentionally to slowly change that person's thinking.

Learn Covert Hypnosis

Learning covert hypnosis techniques requires that you become highly skilled at "reading people." Learning covert hypnosis using hypnosis CDs is a common way to begin this process. Self hypnosis is helpful, once you learn how to reach a higher level of focus and concentration for yourself, you can then apply those same techniques to hypnosis induction in others. When you learn how to hypnotize others, you have a strong tool that helps you gain the results you want from nearly any other person or any situation.

Hypnosis mind control is a powerful method of "getting your way" in certain situations. To learn hypnosis is to learn how to use gestures, body language, particular phrases, and conversational structures to guide another person to your own desires. While you are using strong intention and focus, you are indirectly causing another person to "see your point of view" and ultimately accept it as their own. The other person will be completely unaware of being hypnotized.

Whether you try hypnosis CDs to learn the techniques or you try to learn using free hypnosis training programs, the results will help you gain cooperation from others that has previously escaped you. Covert hypnosis is a powerful tool, whether you are trying to convince someone of your position or make money selling a product or service. The power of covert hypnosis lies with the person using the techniques, and can result in a higher degree of success if you are trying to convince another person of your position.

How to Do Covert Hypnosis - Use Covert Hypnosis to Help Yourself and Others

The fascinating thing about how to do covert hypnosis is that it can be used for others so easily. People discovering hypnosis for the first time consider the system as strange and difficult to understand. To them the question is easy, "Have You Been Hypnotized Today?"

Hypnotized without knowing it

The fascinating thing is that each of us has experienced some form of suggestibility or covert hypnosis, at some point during the day. Although, we usually do not understand this has happened. Even more intriguing is that, without knowing it, we have hypnotized others. Those who believe hypnosis can appreciate how and when to use it in everyday lives.

Many uses

Surprisingly, there are uses for covert hypnosis every day. When we speak with a person regarding doing what we want instead of what they want this can be covert hypnosis. It is one of the simplest, most sincere forms of hypnosis. This does not mean people do not need training and practice. Hypnosis is a tremendously powerful way of shaping changes to a person's core beliefs. It can be used for weight loss and quitting smoking.

Do not use it as a weapon

For this reason, covert hypnosis should not be used against those we dislike for a weapon. It should be used for implementing positive changes. We could even learn how to make covert hypnosis to help a friend to strengthen the relationship of trust we already have with them.

When hypnosis works the person is in an extremely vulnerable position where they are in a highly suggestible state. This is also called a "trance." They can be persuaded to change ideas or misunderstandings to their thinking. It is not necessary to hold an object in front of the person to hypnotize them. Nor can we get a person to do anything against their wills, beliefs or morals.

The most common misconception is the idea that hypnosis is a procedure for "mind control" as it is extremely difficult to control another person's mind. When in the "trance" we can provide direct suggestions that are beneficial to help a person. The intricate details we learn in covert hypnosis will only allow placing suggestions within the subconscious mind.

Covert Hypnosis - Is "Covert Hypnosis - An Operators Manual" a Scam?

Covert hypnosis is covert influence that allows you to move people to a point where they seemingly can't control themselves. Using covert hypnosis, you'll never get a response such as "I don't think that's true" or "There's no way that can happen." Why? Because they'll unconsciously trust and believe you, often without even knowing why.

With this ability, you'll also be able to paint a clear picture on the landscape of another person's mind, even without them knowing. However, there a common misunderstanding is language patterns, for most people think hypnosis must use some kinda language patterns. The truth is there is only 1% of the time when language patterns are applied in covert hypnosis, so this mean you don't need to ever use language patterns for it to be effective! How to do that? You'll definitely find the answer in Kevin Hogan's "Covert Hypnosis: An Operators Manual" book.

You might already have heard this book called "Covert Hypnosis: An Operators Manual". This 100,000 word ebook, Covert Hypnosis: An Operator's Manual, includes truly up-to-the-minute scientific breakthroughs in the area of unconscious influence. For the simplicity of the reader the book is written with examples pertaining to either therapy or selling situations but of course the approaches discussed herein would apply equally as well to pastoring, teaching, training, and other relationship and group situations.

I personally have the hard copy as well as the online version of Kevin Hogan's Covert Hypnosis Manual, in one word it is Explosive. This manual is one of the most powerful book ever released on Conversational Hypnosis. This a Covert Hypnosis Application Manual, real secrets and strategies which you can use in your day to day life to make things better and work for you.

Once you master covert hypnosis, you have the ability to change the way people think - and decide - with the use of targeted questions. You get compliance when words would fail. You get to maximize the important parts of nonverbal communication, which extends far beyond body language.

The How to Covert Hypnosis Guide

No doubt you have a number of how to covert hypnosis questions. How to hypnotize someone discreetly, outside of their conscious awareness, how to make people do anything you tell them to. These are all common questions that people ask when finding out about covert hypnosis.

The first thing that you must understand in order to use covert hypnosis is just how the mind operates. This is what's known as the 'theory of mind'. The theory of mind is basically an explanation for how the mind enters into a state of trance, and responds to hypnotic suggestions.

The mind is basically divided into two main parts, the conscious and the subconscious. Suggestions that we make to someone when they're in hypnosis are sent from their conscious into their subconscious.

When we enter into hypnosis we basically enter into a state known as a 'trance'. A trance is a state our mind enters whereby it becomes susceptible to external suggestions and influence. The type of suggestions we respond to when in this state of trance depends greatly upon just how deep in hypnosis we are.

The deeper we fall into hypnosis you see, the more vulnerable we become to external suggestions. This is what's known as 'deepening', and a well trained hypnotist will be able to guide a subject so deep into hypnosis, that the subject would be willing to do almost anything, provided the action does not go against the subject's fundamental morals and beliefs (in hypnosis, we cannot ever convince someone to do anything against their fundamental morals and beliefs).

Now all covert hypnosis is, is a matter of applying these same techniques of guiding someone into a trance, and planting suggestions within their subconscious, in a discreet setting. You do this outside of the person's consciousness, bypassing what's known as the 'critical mind'. The critical mind is the part of the conscious mind that critically analysed everything. If you can plant your suggestions in a subtle enough manner so that the person does not even realise you planted such suggestions, then the person will not have any knowledge that you're hypnotising them.

This is essentially how covert hypnosis works, but of course the theory behind it, and the techniques you learn to apply it, are considerably more in-depth. Hopefully you've found this 'how to covert hypnosis guide' to answer a couple of your questions on just exactly what covert hypnosis is, and how it works.

Steven Peliari is a Master Hypnotist and Chairman of the International Hypnosis Association. He has recently released his famed best selling course The Art Of Covert Hypnosis. The course contains a number of how to covert hypnosis tips that you can use to starting using covert hypnosis in your day to day life, to your benefit.

What's the Difference Between Covert Hypnosis and Overt Hypnosis?

Overt hypnosis, or conventional hypnosis, utilizes a situation in which the subject of the hypnosis absolutely knows he or she is being hypnotized. For example, overt hypnosis is often used to help people break bad habits, such as smoking or overeating. It can also be used very effectively as a means to overcome phobias like fear of spiders, fear of heights, and so on.

With overt hypnosis, a hypnotist has the subject of the hypnosis sit comfortably or lie down in a quiet room, so that he or she can be completely relaxed. The hypnotist skilfully puts the hypnosis subject in a light, trance-like state, whereby he or she can access the subconscious mind more easily, and implant suggestions to help change the bad habit or behaviour into something more desirable.

With covert hypnosis (oftentimes called "conversational hypnosis," as one of its terms), the subject being "hypnotized" has no idea that such a thing is taking place. And unlike overt hypnosis, there is no established "trance-like state" that the subject goes into, from the point of view of the common sense.

Instead, the person practising the covert hypnosis gradually uses techniques to implant ideas or suggestions during conversation that the subject probably would not have agreed with. Very skilful salespeople, for example, often use covert hypnosis techniques to get subjects to buy their products. Basically, the object of conversational hypnosis or covert hypnosis is to convince someone to do something. In fact, many people have either been subjects of or hypnotist themselves without actually knowing they were engaging in covert hypnosis, which tells you that in fact, it's very easy to learn hypnosis in this way even unconsciously; of course, although, you can also learn techniques so that you can do this consciously.

Steps to covert hypnosis

- Establish rapport

It begins with a "hypnotist" establishing rapport with his or her intended subject. Most often, the "hypnotist" simply agrees with his or her subject on the topic at hand. This causes the subject to relax, which makes him or her much more amenable to suggestion.

- Create confusion

Now, after the "hypnotist" has gotten the subject completely relaxed because rapport has been established, he or she creates confusion. For example, maybe someone has said something to the effect of, "All politicians are crooks." So, during the establishment of rapport, the "hypnotist" absolutely agrees: "I absolutely agree. All politicians are crooks."

This confuses the hypnotist's subject, because he or she wasn't expecting absolute, complete agreement. In fact, he or she was expecting at least some hedging ("Well, but you can't mean that ALL politicians are crooks"). By so completely agreeing, the hypnotist has created confusion in the subject.

Now, during this time of confusion, the conversation continues, and the hypnotist can gently say something to the effect of, "Are you SURE all politicians are crooks?" And of course, the subject is going to have to answer something to the effect of, "Well, no, I know that (insert name of politician) wasn't a crook. I didn't mean that."

Now, all of a sudden, the subject of the hypnosis is disagreeing with his or her own original point of view.

- Implant a suggestion

Next, the "hypnotist" gently plants a suggestion, another point of view, that the subject simply must agree with. It doesn't all have to happen in one conversation, either; in fact, doing covert hypnosis on a continuum, from one conversation to the next, is probably one of the most effective ways to completely "hypnotize" a subject without him or her ever knowing it.

That's the difference between overt versus covert hypnosis. With overt hypnosis, both parties (hypnotist and subject) know hypnosis is happening. With covert hypnosis, in fact, neither party may know it's even happening, although it's very possible as well that the "hypnotist" is fully aware of what's going on.

When is each technique best used?

In fact, either overt or covert hypnosis can be used to break bad habits, because the subject is willing to change and really wants to.

In any case anyone can learn covert hypnosis techniques, and it can be very useful in careers like sales.

You can even, for example, use covert hypnosis techniques to get a roommate to break a bad habit, establish better study techniques, and so on.

Understanding the Power of Covert Hypnosis

Did you know that there are several different types of hypnosis? In fact there are a few methods that are highly guarded secrets in the hypnotherapy profession. This is due mainly to the fact that the power of simple hypnotic suggestions can be so effective and that these suggestions can be planted in a persons mind without them even knowing it. This method of hypnosis is known as covert hypnosis.

Covert hypnosis can be a very dangerous weapon when not used in a moral or ethical way. However, covert hypnosis can also be a very effective tool when used properly. If you have ever seen a very charismatic or effective and persuasive speaker then you have probably experienced covert hypnosis. The covert hypnosis techniques can be used to affect a mass audience just as simply as it can be used to affect a single person in a conversation.

Have you ever met a salesperson that sold their product so well that you just had to have it only to get home later and wonder why you bought it? This sales person was probably practicing some form of covert hypnosis. Covert hypnosis, when mastered, often gives the master of covert hypnosis a great power over their subjects and the decisions that they make. This power is not only useful if you are a salesperson but can be utilized in almost any situation. The covert hypnosis methods can be used to persuade clients or colleagues at work to see things your way, to get your children and teens to obey your instructions, and to get just about anyone to say "yes".

The possibilities are endless. Covert hypnosis can be used almost anywhere and in almost any situation. This is what makes it such an amazing tool. I have actually seen people use it to distract their opponent in a golf game. It could of course also be used in chess games, checkers games, or any type of competition that involves concentration and skill. This is because the methods of covert hypnosis actually require getting into the mind of the target audience. The person practicing covert hypnosis uses a combination of command tones in their voice, personal trance words, and three main principles of suggestion in order to gain control over their subject. They are actually able to speak to the unconscious mind of their subject giving it commands while seemingly just carrying on a normal conversation.

Of course if convert hypnosis were extremely simple to master then there would be ton of people out there practicing it. While there are now quite a few that are learning covert hypnosis, there are still very few masters of it. This is not because the principles are not simple but because most people either do not take the time to fully understand how covert hypnosis works or they simply give up out of frustration. However, those who do master covert hypnosis find that they have gained much power and much more satisfaction in their lives. Their quality of life is much better because they get what they want more often and spend less time struggling to convince others to do things their way.

Covert Hypnosis - 4 Popular Covert Hypnosis Myths Debunked

To most people, covert hypnosis is a mystery. Many of those who have just "scratched the surface" believe that their knowledge is complete and perfectly accurate. This is how myths are born.

These myths limit the understanding and the practice of covert hypnosis. That is why it is really important for them to be debunked. Discover the facts behind the myths and find out how you can practice this art to your own advantage.

Myth 1: Covert hypnosis does not work on everyone.

This is probably the biggest covert hypnosis myth of all. People who believe this base their belief on the fact that they cannot do it. As master practitioners like to say, "There isn't a person who cannot be influenced. There are only practitioners who cannot influence people."

Fact: Covert hypnosis works on every human being because it exploits mind features that we all have. It influences the subconscious mind, the part of the mind which is responsible for all values, beliefs, desires and instincts that we are not assessing critically, but just acting on.

Provided that the hypnotist can influence the subconscious mind by exploiting its features, he can make the person willing and motivated to do what he wants.

Myth 2: The best way to build rapport is to use mirror imaging.

People believe that this is the best way for building rapport because it is the first psychological method they learn. It is natural to make this mistake, but you have to know the facts.

Fact: Mirror imaging is just one of the ways for building rapport. It is particularly useful when you are having a conversation with a stranger that you want to hypnotize. In such cases, it will work effectively, if performed well, but for best results it has to be combined with voice matching and vocabulary matching.

In general, experts recommend using as many techniques as appropriate for building rapport. It will not be a mistake to use simpler and more traditional methods, such as story telling, sharing or flattering. Just make sure you are using them in the most effective manner.

Myth 3: The only way to get a person into trance is to use trance phrases.

This is perhaps one of the biggest myths in covert hypnosis. Many people who have learned just the basics assume that this is the only method for induction just because it is the most straightforward to understand and to apply. However, this is definitely a wrong notion.

Fact: There are two other main ways for getting a person into trance apart from using trance phrases like "imagine" straightforwardly. These are asking questions and using pattern interrupts.

Instead of saying to someone, "Imagine feeling relaxed", you can readily say, "What do you have to do to feel relaxed?" By answering the question in his mind and verbally, the person will actually get into a state of trance.

Generally, asking question is particularly effective for eliciting a memory for the purposes of covert hypnosis. As the person imagines what he has done and how he has felt at this past moment, he will fall into a deep trance.

Pattern interrupts allow you to get the person into a state of trance very quickly. These involve doing or saying something strange, unexpected or confusing. The person automatically falls into a state of trance by trying to figure out what to make out of what you have said or done. In turn, he will open his subconscious mind to you.

Myth 4: The embedded commands have to be in short commanding sentences.

This myth springs from the notion that traditional hypnosis and covert hypnosis is the same thing. In the traditional method, commands or subliminal suggestions have to be straightforward, but this is not the case in conversational hypnosis.

Fact: Embedded commands are naturally slipped into all sorts of sentences. The hypnotist manipulates the sentences and phrases to make these commands more influential. He can presuppose that the action is done or he can slip the command in a question.

For instance, you can say to your child "After having cleaned your room, you will have the whole day to play outdoors." Similarly, you can ask, "How will you clean your room today?"

Now you know to understand and use covert hypnosis by not trusting the most popular myths. Keep expanding your knowledge to become a skillful and powerful practitioner.

What Is Covert Hypnosis And How Does It Differ From 'Ordinary' Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a very powerful and effective way to induce change in people and there's been a giant growth of the number of hypnotists in recent years. However, when it comes to persuasion, ordinary hypnosis inductions become almost useless because the people one is trying to "hypnotically influence" didn't give any permission to do that.

"Covert hypnosis is the utilization of techniques and strategies to induce change in a person in a subtle and completely unconscious way", says Kevin Hogan Psy.D., a University professor of influence and persuasion, a professional speaker, trainer and therapist.

From this definition it is clear that the "subject" isn't aware of the persuasion (= change) taking place. This is the key difference between covert hypnosis and 'ordinary' therapeutic hypnosis and thus the methods also vary quite a lot. Sometimes, however, the techniques are very similar as covert hypnosis 'took' many (more subtle) methods out of the hypnotherapy practice.

Hypnosis literally means "sleep" and is not a very good description of either of the models. Early hypnotists though that a subject, when hypnotized and entering a trance, fell a sleep. They also used the word "Sleep!" to induce trance a lot, and some (stage) hypnotists, because it's been engraved into our minds so deeply, use it to this day.

A hypnotic trance is a unique state of mind where the subject is more suggestible and both hypnosis and covert hypnosis attempt to induce such a state in a person.

In a regular hypnosis setting, a subject is placed in a controlled environment (a safe room with little distraction...), is aware of what's about to go on and allows the hypnotist to lead them into a trance and give them positive suggestions.

Covert hypnosis works quite differently. A person is brought into a trance state during what seems a normal, everyday conversation and is, through various techniques, suggested what the covert hypnotist desires. The subject typically acts on the suggestions and because it's very hard to detect covert hypnosis, he or she is certain that the whole thing was their own idea. This can be used to change a thought pattern, to stimulate emotional responses, to implant ideas and false memories, to change behaviour etc.

The person being persuaded with covert hypnosis is usually wide awake. Suggestions are slid "below the radar" so that little or no critical thought goes to them. They are thus readily accepted by the subconscious mind and acted upon.

The aim of the persuader using covert hypnosis is to capture and lead the subject's imagination, thus reducing the action of the critical mind, focus them on a specific outcome and through suggestion make it a new, firm reality for the subject. The firmer belief about the outcome the subject already has, the harder it is to change it (e.g. if a person passionately supports one political party, it's very hard to get them to support the other), but the multitude of techniques and strategies almost assure a successful change (it's all in the persuader and his willingness to persist and utilize different strategies).

Covert hypnosis has unlimited uses, but most commonly it's used in sales, relationships and therapy. It gives a tremendous advantage to the person that's skilled in it.

Is it Possible to Use Covert Hypnosis to Reach My Goals?

If you really want to do something badly but you always seem to be "stuck," not quite sure how to get there, and not quite sure what to do next, the problem could very well be your subconscious. Hypnosis has proven to be very helpful to people who want to break bad habits, reach goals, and be successful. Covert hypnosis or so-called "street hypnosis" is yet another way to do hypnosis.

Of course, done in a conventional sense, hypnosis is a sort of "agreement" between you and the therapist that you are going to be hypnotized specifically to overcome whatever roadblocks you may have.

Covert hypnosis, sometimes also called "conversational hypnosis," works differently. It's usually done without the hypnosis subject's knowledge. In fact, it would probably not work nearly as well if the subject of the hypnosis knew what was going on! That is, the subject of the covert hypnosis or the conversational hypnosis has to be unaware that he or she is undergoing this particular form of hypnosis in order to have it work.

That's because it works on a sort of "manipulative" basis. That can mean either positive or negative manipulation (positive manipulation can help you overcome a bad habit, while negative manipulation can make you buy something you neither want nor need). Done right, though, if you engage in covert hypnosis as a means to try to help someone overcome his or her roadblocks, it can be a very beneficial way to provide help to someone who really needs it, in order to be a success.

Here's how it works. Say you've got a friend who's got lots of great ideas, seems gung ho at getting a business going, but then can never seem to follow through. She is absolutely stymied as to why things get stuck in this way. You can see that the problem is really low self-esteem rather than lack of smarts or initiative. When the going gets tough, in other words, your friend gives up because she simply thinks she doesn't have it in her to do it.

You know better, so you want to help your friend increase her low self-esteem. That, you know, will help her be successful. So through covert hypnosis, you begin by absolutely agreeing with your friend when she says, "I'll never make anything work!" By absolutely agreeing with her (establishing rapport), you throw her off balance (create confusion), which gives you the ability to implant a suggestion while she's off balance that she can actually succeed.

What if it's you, though? What if you don't have the ability to break through some particular roadblock you've got? You know about covert hypnosis, but obviously, you can't practice it on yourself.

The solution is rather simple. Have a friend practice it on YOU. For example, if you've gotten someone out of the doldrums and onto a better life by doing covert hypnosis on him or her, eventually, you may just break the secret of why that was so successful. If you do, you can train that friend in the ins and outs of covert hypnosis, and then be the subject yourself during casual conversations.

Now, here's the thing. You're not going to entirely be unaware that any kind of hypnosis is happening, likely, when your friend is practicing it on you. After all, you're the one who taught it to her. But it does help even so to see things from another viewpoint, so that you can break free of your roadblocks and get on to your own success.

Covert Hypnosis - Casting a Secret Spell to Get People to Follow Your Every Command

Covert hypnosis is just what it sounds like - the ability to hypnotize without being obvious. There's nothing subtle about dangling a pocket watch in front of someone's eyes and murmuring phrases like "you're getting very sleepy."

Luckily, you don't need a pocket watch or fancy catch phrases to put people under a spell. All you need are clever skills of manipulation and covert hypnosis offers you exactly that.

Communicating with another person's subconscious is not as intimidating as it sounds. It takes place daily, usually through a phenomenon known as 'conversational hypnosis.'

The intention of covert hypnosis is to change another person's behavior or thought pattern through specific methods. These methods range from each word spoken to each gesture made.

A covert hypnosis master shows a certain facial expression or makes a specific gesture, all the while understanding that these acts of body language have an ulterior motive - to get the other person thinking their way. The skilled covert hypnosis master will not make their intentions obvious.

If you think this is second-tier pop science, consider this: Covert hypnosis is practiced every day. You have probably practiced it yourself on some level, and you've certainly been the unwitting participant on another.

Because of its subtlety, you don't even realize it. Once you do, however, you can take full control of situations in your life.

A covert hypnosis master could be anyone from the charming man at the dinner table who calms the mood or the car salesman in the used car lot.

Pushing someone to buy a car is one thing. Convincing them to decide for themselves that they need one is another. That's the difference between simple manipulation and skilled covert hypnosis.

Chances are you already have the skills necessary to practice covert hypnosis; we all do, to some degree. But there are some tricks of the trade to help you develop and hone the ability to use covert hypnosis easily and effectively. Namely, the power of observation, the ability to mirror, and the skill to drop subtle commands:

The power of observation.

To skillfully manipulate others through covert hypnosis, you have to be a master of observation.

You need to build a rapport with the people whose intentions you want to change, and the only way to do that is observe who they are. What are their motivations? What irritates them? What excites them? Once you learn these things, you're halfway there.

Mirror without mocking.

To make a subconscious connection with someone, they need to feel that you're on their wavelength. It's not enough to agree with what they say or throw out compliments - that can come off as pretentious and annoying.

Instead, actually GET on their wavelength by mirroring them. If they speak softly, you speak softly. If they talk with their hands, you talk with your hands. If they lean back in their chair, you lean back in yours.

You can't make it obvious. After a few minutes, they'll feel an uncanny connection to you, even though they may not know why.

Commanding without dominance.

When we think of someone commanding another person, we typically visualize them hovering over them, wagging a finger in their face and barking out orders. But commands don't require dominance.

One of the most fascinating aspects of covert hypnosis is the fact that the subject doesn't realize it's happening. This works to your benefit. Why? Because when a person thinks that they've made a decision of their own free will, it reduces resistance.

Commanding someone as a covert hypnotist doesn't involve a long list of orders. It means dropping subtle hints to turn someone your way. Say you're having a conversation with a potential love interest.

After a while of observing and mirroring, you say something like, 'Isn't it great to feel a connection with someone right off the bat? I just love to feel comfortable when I meet someone new.'

Doesn't sound like much of a command, does it? But what you're actually saying is: 'Feel a connection. Feel comfortable.'

The benefits of sharpening your subtle skills of manipulation are endless. Sit down and think about how your life could change if you could control the intentions and motivations of others.

Covert Hypnosis Manual Techniques to Influence Covertly

If you're looking for a covert hypnosis manual, you have hit the right page.

I have read more covert hypnosis manuals and research papers than anyone that I've ever met in person, or online. I've studied declassified papers on subliminal conditioning and literally everything I've been able to get my hands on over the last several years. I can point you to a great resource that covers everything you've every wanted in a covert hypnosis manual, but were afraid to ask.

Why have I studied covert hypnosis manuals so intently? It's because someone once used those techniques on me and it took me a couple years to really figure out the extent of it. I can tell you first hand, that covert techniques of influence are real and that you should really consider using them for positive - NOT negative influence.

Here are some basics that you'll find in a covert hypnosis manual.

1) Influencing someone by covert means involves influencing them on a level that is below their 'threshold of awareness'. Take this for example... are you aware of the background noise in the room your in now, until I mention it in this article? Are you consciously aware right now of the sensation of your clothing... the feeling of your socks on your feet or the sensation of the chair against your back?

Probably not until I brought it to your attention, right?

That's the first thing that your going to study a covert hypnosis manual. You have to understand that there is a subconscious and a conscious mode of operation in your mind. It's not that you have two separate minds in your head - it's that there are things that you are consciously aware of. Those are typically things that either relate to acquiring new information about the world around you (learning) and those things that are immediately necessary for survival - such as being hungry, having a need to procreate or sleep to recharge your ability to pursue those basic human functions.

Understanding that there are ways to influence people by covert means, or subconscious stimuli being presented below their threshold of awareness is the first step to understanding a covert hypnosis manual.

2) Being aware of yourself. You cannot begin to control your voice tone, gestures, body language and language patterns to influence another human being unless you are first aware of them in the first place.

When you speak, you are probably just like 99.99999999999999% of people that are not even aware of the pitch of their voice. When you get involved in a conversation, you're focus isn't on the particular note that you're hitting when you say certain words.

Controlling those notes and how they related to the way that the person you're talking to speaks, can have a profound impact on the person you're talking to without them being the slightest bit aware that you are consciously influencing their subconscious mind.

When learning from a covert hypnosis manual, I encourage you to focus on positive ways that you can influence others. Don't take advantage of other people as it will surely come back to haunt you if you do.

Learning Covert Hypnosis [http://covert-hypnosis.info] will not happen completely overnight. You will become more and more aware of the world around you and you'll quickly be able to control how your own voice tones and gestures are a stimulus that affects others. Either positively or negatively. You must increase your level of awareness about yourself before you can begin to control your own actions, tones and gestures to affect others. Everyday, we make ourselves more or less attractive in the eyes of others. I encourage you to expand your mind and learn more about covert hypnosis.

Advanced Secrets of Covert Hypnosis Mastery - Secretly Hypnotize Anyone

A lot of hypnotists newly venturing into the world of covert conversational hypnosis fear that they will be 'caught' using their skills by their unwitting hypnotic subjects. This is an interesting fear to have as it seems to suggest that these hypnotists are doing something wrong or something bad, something which you want to 'get away with.' Apart from this being a very unhealthy attitude to have towards what is perhaps one of the most powerful vehicles for positive change and improvement there is, it is also something of a self fulfilling prophecy.

Think about this, the unconscious mind is highly perceptive, even if we are not always able to consciously access these perceptions. I am sure you know what it's like to see someone, even before you speak to them, and just automatically get a feeling about them. Maybe you'll like them, maybe you won't. These feelings will seem totally unjustified, but they'll be 100% real. If you did use covert hypnosis in an unethical manner, people would unconsciously begin to associate you with the negative results of your hypnotic suggestions, and would just naturally begin to mistrust you. So, as a matter both of ethics and of pragmatism, always use covert and conversational hypnosis for good. My moral compass is to always ask myself 'who will benefit from this' if the answer is 'no one' or 'just me' or anything other than 'everyone involved in this interaction' I bite my tongue.

So anyway, now that we have that out of the way, let's think about this whole 'getting caught' thing from another angle. Maybe you can remember or at least imagine a time when one of your friends or a family member has been upset about something. You go to talk to them, to console them, and they turn to you and accusingly challenge you with 'you're just trying to make me feel better!' Now of course in retrospect it's easy to think 'well duh! Of course i want you to feel good, what's wrong with that!' But in the moment, most of us accept the accusation for what it is, and leave them alone to their sadness. As silly as this definitely is, it reveals to us a very important factor when doing covert hypnosis: People do not like being influenced. No matter whether you are trying to persuade someone to buy a car or simply to feel good and be happy people as a rule do not like knowing about it, very often to their own detriment.

This, of course, presents us with another ethical dilemma. Why influence people if they don't want to be influenced? Well think about this, every day we influence people, always. We communicate with people every day of our lives, and try and move people to make better decisions, to feel better, to be happier and to get over their own problems. The fact is also, many people accidentally use covert hypnotic tactics without realizing the harmful effects of what they are doing. A teacher will look at a child and say ' you got that question wrong, you are not a smart student and will always be a disappointment' and the hypnotic suggestion takes hold! So what is the harm of learning how to effectively influence people for good, rather than accidentally causing harm.

So, now that we've laid the ground rules of only using covert hypnosis as a 'force for good' and established that influence is a natural part of everyday life, a crucial skill which covert hypnosis simply allows you to master, let's get back to the point of this article: getting caught.

Because not that many people know about covert hypnosis by name, it is unlikely that someone is going to turn to you in the street and say 'hey, stop covertly hypnotizing me!' If, however you don't take the following pieces of advice, it is likely that people will consciously realize the fact that what you are having is far more than a normal conversation. The harm of this is that as soon as people become too consciously involved in an interaction the hypnosis stops as the unconscious processes you are creating get interrupted and blocked. But fear not! There are easy ways to prevent this from happening.

Firstly, avoid making the common mistake of talking differently when doing covert hypnosis. A lot of people get the idea that as soon as you start using covert hypnosis, your entire voice and physiology must change. This is just a bit silly, because, think about it, covert hypnosis is an unconscious process, so naturally your unconscious should do most of the work. If you are consciously inside your head going "now i will use a presupposition...' you interrupt the natural hypnotic flow, you begin to sound robotic and uninteresting, you sound like you are delivering a prepared speech and people immediately realize something's up and stop absorbing your suggestions.

The way to avoid this is just to talk naturally, and allow the hypnotic patterns to flow automatically from your subconscious mind, then, once your listeners are in trance, once they are hooked on your natural and irresistible flow of smooth suggestions you can begin to gradually lower, and deepen your voice, and set a hypnotic trigger, an anchor, which will instantly send them back into trance whenever you use it.

Along this vein, be congruent, as I have previously posted about 'go there first' and always be sure that the place you are taking them is far nicer than the place where they are.

The astute reader will already have realized how ironic the idea of being caught doing covert hypnosis really is. Specifically, I mean that if you really are doing covert hypnosis, by definition their conscious mind will be out of the picture, and therefore you will not get caught:) The only way you could ever get 'caught' is if they were not hypnotized, therefore you can get caught trying to do covert hypnosis, but you can never get caught if you actually do it right. Make sure you just follow the typical rules of covert hypnosis and keep the critical factor tied up. Use stories, conversational devices, linguistic patterns and rapport techniques to induce a state of hyper suggestibility, where the conscious mind is no longer able to 'catch you.'

If however your flow is broken or by some fluke of chance or mistake of yours they do consciously catch on to the fact that you are unconsciously influencing them, then if you think on your feet you can utilise this also. I remember hearing the audio of one lecture Milton Erickson did, he spent the entire time thoroughly entrancing the many doctors and psychiatrists in the audience with many hypnotic stories, and unconsciously installing in them the skills required to be a great hypnotist. Near the end of the lecture one of the doctors challenges Erickson, accusing him of hypnotizing the entire room as he talked. Erickson remained calm and simply said "that's right, you have all been listening to me whilst being in a trance, and you can sit back and find yourself getting more and more comfortable, and realize that you'll learn all the better for it." Here Erickson utilised the fact that one of the many listeners had finally 'caught him' to his advantage, so really, if per chance you do get caught, it's not a problem as after all, you won't have been doing anything wrong anyway.

Finally, realize that covert hypnosis is not something you do, it's something you become. it's part of who you are, the ability to unconsciously move people to where they want to be, and to achieve success in your own life simply because you have mastered what is probably the most important skill of this modern age. The art of communication.

So, get out there and enjoy being a conversational hypnotist!
